Description
Cobb, Speaker, Collins and Kid Gleason Autographed Baseball - JSA Letter
This incredible piece of history includes autographs of 3 of the greatest ball players of all time. Ty Cobb, Tris Speaker and Eddie Collins all found themselves on the star-studded A's team joining 4 other major future hall of farmers (Cochrane, Foxx, Simmons and Lefty Grove). This was all 3 players final year. The ball dated Sept. 22, 1928 Detroit, MI is personalized to Harry Balsley. The Tigers and A's finished off a 3 game series that day. Along with the 3 HOF players, John "Kid" Gleason has also signed the ball. Gleason, a star player in the 1880's and 90's, was manager of the 1919 Black Sox and is an extremely desirable and rare autograph.
All of the autographs are very clear on this evenly toned American League E. Barnard official ball.
